EMS Healthcare is recruiting for a dedicated team of Study Ambassadors to play a pivotal role in engaging with the public to encourage them to take part in an important and exciting health awareness campaign.

Working as an integral part of the Outreach team at EMS Healthcare, you will be responsible for engaging on the ground with the local community to create awareness, inform and educate people on the key elements of the campaign, encourage and drive participation, and signpost individuals to where they can take part or find out further information.

This role will involve working in and around the localities of Greater Manchester, with days and timings to be agreed, but will include Saturdays. The project will run initially for a 6-week period starting week commencing 24th February 2025.

Reporting into the Outreach Project Manager, your key responsibilities will be to raise awareness for an exciting health screening program in Greater Manchester through direct communication with members of the public. You will have a passion for face-to-face communication and the ability to connect with people from within the targeted cohort demographic, driving awareness and increasing participation in the screening programme.

Requirements

Experience of working within a healthcare or medical environment or brand is desirable but not essential (full training will be provided, including GCP training if required). Experience of performing a similar public-facing engagement role. Excellent communication skills. Ability to deliver exceptional customer service. Possess excellent time management and organisational skills. Drive and compassion to make a difference to people's lives. Full UK residency and ideally hold a valid driving license. The ability to travel within the required location. Excellent people skills and the ability to work in a self-motivated way. Proficient in written and spoken English. High standards of integrity, professionalism, and sensitivity. Flexibility with working hours.
