Clear Links Support is recruiting for One-to-One Study Skills Specialists to support students with a Specific Learning Difference (SpLD) studying at City of Glasgow College. You will be working with students to provide strategies to develop the study skills required when studying in further and higher education. This can include developing skills in time management, essay planning, improving spelling and grammar, as well as strategies to develop students’ memory, organisation and referencing skills. Pay:

£30 per hour plus £3.62 holiday pay per hour. We offer: Flexible working hours to suit your availability Competitive hourly pay rate, plus holiday pay per hour (£3.62 for this role) Continuous Professional Development allowance Free CPD accredited online training on relevant topics A dedicated team of office staff and a single point of contact to support you in the role Applicants must be available to provide in person support at City of Glasgow College. Applicants must have: A teaching qualification Professional experience supporting individuals with disabilities Membership of one of the following professional bodies is desirable but not essential: BDA, PATOSS, Dyslexia Guild, ADSHE. It is desirable that applicants have experience in a similar role within the last five years. Applicants should also have an understanding of the impact of disabilities in the further/higher education context. By the start of employment, the successful candidate must have permission to work in the UK in accordance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996.
