My client is a leading civil engineering and building contractor, committed to delivering first-class service and exceeding client expectations. Due to upcoming projects they are currently seeking a dedicated and organised Sub Agent to join their dynamic team and contribute to successful project delivery.


As a Sub Agent, you will oversee and manage site operations, ensuring work progresses according to schedule, quality, and safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, along with a solid understanding of industry regulations and best practices. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a key role in driving the successful completion of upcoming projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Management: Supervise day-to-day site activities, ensuring all operations are on track with project plans and deadlines.
  • Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact between the site team, project managers, contractors, and clients.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and enforce quality standards, promptly addressing any deviations.
  • Safety Compliance: Implement and uphold health and safety policies, identifying risks and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records, prepare progress reports, and communicate updates to the project team and stakeholders.
  • Resource Allocation: Assist in the allocation and management of resources, including labour, materials, and equipment.
  • Problem-Solving: Address site issues as they arise, working proactively to find effective solutions to keep the project on track.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Must have experience in a similar role within civil engineering.
  • Education: Minimum HNC-level qualification in Civil Engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with industry-standard software and an understanding of regulatory requirements, industry codes.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage teams, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and drive projects forward.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a knack for detail.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
  • Certifications: SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and First Aid Certification. A full UK driving licence is required.
