You will be responsible for developing innovative lesson plans, managing resources, and supporting other teachers in the department.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the Music department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.Develop and implement a rich and engaging Music curriculum.Support and mentor fellow teachers within the department.Organize and oversee school performances, concerts, and musical events.Collaborate with other subject leads to integrate music across the curriculum.Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing targeted support where necessary. Requirements To be considered for the role of Subject Lead - Music you will: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Music.Experience teaching Music across various key stages.Demonstrated leadership abilities or experience in a similar role.Excellent communication and organisational skills.A passion for music education and a commitment to student success.Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship) Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: a suitable qualification to teach Music PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS ABC Teachers is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
