Subject Matter Expert - Stampings

to join our engineering team. This pivotal role involves leveraging your extensive knowledge of metal stamping processes to influence product design and production techniques, ensuring that our vehicle components meet industry standards and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and will be based in our state-of-the-art facility located in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert guidance on metal stamping processes, including design, tooling, and manufacturing best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in product development to ensure manufacturability of stamped components. Evaluate existing stamping operations and identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction. Develop and implement testing and validation procedures to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards. Train and mentor engineering teams on stamping technology and techniques. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in metal stamping within the automotive or manufacturing industry. Solid understanding of stamping processes, materials, and tool design. Proficiency in CAD software and engineering analysis tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming technical challenges.
