DOF Subsea Atlantic is seeking a Subsea Field Engineer to join one of our CSVs to support the delivery of subsea projects. The Field Engineer will be based on the vessel full time on a rota of up to 6 weeks on / off. This role will suit someone with a strong background in the preparation and delivery of offshore subsea construction, decommissioning or IRM projects. We are looking for a candidate with a flexible mindset that can use their experience to support the project team before and during execution offshore. The role will also require integration into the Offshore Management Team (OMT) so that they can work on improving efficiencies linked to project delivery and build a strong relationship so that they can act as the bridge between the OMT and the onshore project teams. This role is linked to a vessel which works primarily in the Atlantic region (North Sea, Mediterranean, West Africa) but there may be opportunities to support other regions as well. This is an offshore role primarily but may include occasional office visits to support constructability reviews or risk assessments. Responsibilities: Build a strong understanding of vessel capabilities and limitations. Develop / improve processes and manuals to support project delivery. Coordinate requests for information from onshore teams to the relevant department on the CSV. Attend constructability reviews / HIRA / HAZOP. Support mobilisations and demobilisations. Support offshore project execution (task plan preparation, equipment readiness). Perform ad hoc engineering checks during change management. Champion QHSE on board the vessel. Experience: Strong track record of procedure writing / checking for delivery of subsea projects. Offshore experience on CSV/DSV as a project engineer or field engineer. Mobilisation and demobilisation of offshore construction vessels. In addition to the above experience candidates would ideally possess the following competencies: Good interpersonal and organizational skills. Enthusiasm in problem-solving and flexible attitude. Clear and concise communication abilities. Reliability, honesty, and a proactive attitude.
