We pride ourselves on the world-class safety, quality, and reliability of our operations underpinned by our Target 365 safety culture which strives for “a Perfect Day, Every Day.” The Opportunity: Reporting to the UK General Manager, the Subsea Services Manager will: Be responsible for management of, and efficient safe running of Assembly & Test and Machine Shop facilities. Have overall responsibility for onshore/offshore operations ensuring all internal and external customer requirements are delivered on time, to a high standard of quality and within budget. Provide cost-effective solutions to clients. Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with new and existing clients in order to leverage business opportunities/developments/possible acquisitions/new contracts. Interact with other UK service lines such as Environment & Stabilisation to create diversification from Oil & Gas. Key Responsibilities: Maximise production efficiency and profitability of A&T and Machine Shop. Ensure A&T and Machine Shop are equipped to cope with workload, e.g., manpower, equipment, consumables. Provide pricing and quotation, attend customer meetings as required. Make recommendations on capital equipment, tooling, software and provide justification for spend. Manage external subcontractors, if workload necessitates. Manage utilisation of subsea equipment rental. Provide financial support that includes budget & monthly forecast. Provide operational updates to Head Office. Comply with all company HSEQ policies and procedures, including internal/external audits. Essential Experience: 8-10 years subsea and surface oil & gas industry experience. 3-4 years management/supervisory experience. Client-focused and professional, and must be willing to develop the workforce to ensure MMA becomes the exemplar for safety, service, quality, and delivery within the industry. Competence and training – be able to lead and guide others to develop new skills. Qualifications: HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering/Time served in an appropriate trade or; Relevant experience where safety, attitude, and quality of work are without question.
