Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week.
This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary between £49,848 - £55,996 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job As a Substance Misuse Non Medical Prescriber your responsibilities will vary. You will:
Act within the boundaries of nursing practice to provide patient care encompassing initial history taking
Clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation
Demonstrate critical thinking in the application of evidence-based care to support safe clinical decision-making processes in the delivery of expert care.
Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with our cross-disciplinary team to meet the needs of patients, reflecting company and prison values and goals and meeting the expectations of our commissioners.

Qualifications required:
Registered with the NMC as a first-level nurse with independent nurse prescribing rights, with area of expertise in substance misuse
Evidence of Continued Professional Development
Qualifications supporting your areas of specialist interest in substance misuse (Essential RCGP 1, Desirable RCGP 2 or a willingness to work towards)
Enhanced knowledge of national guidelines relating to substance misuse
