University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust (UHDB) is seeking Consultant Geriatricians to join its Department for Medicine of the Elderly (DME) team. Full GMC Registration with a license to practice MBBS/MBChB and MRCP qualification Eligibility for entry on the GMC Specialist Register, or within six months of receiving a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or CESR in Medicine for the Elderly at the time of the interview Preferred Criteria:

Five years of supervised training in an appropriate SpR-equivalent training program, with advanced clinical skills in Medicine for the Elderly Strong technical competence in geriatric medicine Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Teaching and Research Experience:

Teaching:

Experience in and commitment to teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students Research:

Publications in peer-reviewed journals Management and Administrative Experience:
