The Opportunity On this summer Placement, you'll work alongside skilled professionals and from day one you will be working on real life meaningful projects - adding value to clients, while exploring challenges with curiosity and creativity. You'll help us to deliver effective and professional services for a range of varied and high-profile clients. While you'll have a great deal of responsibility from day one, we'll give you the chance to take on more as you progress and broaden your skills. We have a number of summer Placement opportunities available across our Transport group. The discipline teams with roles available are our Track and Rail teams. We welcome applications for this general summer Placement opportunity and will discuss with you your discipline preference during the interview stage of the application. We offer Summer Placements in Transport in the following areas: Rail Transport: Locations include Bristol, Manchester, York. Track Transport: Locations include Birmingham. Through joining the team, you will have the opportunity to work first hand on a variety of projects across the United Kingdom and beyond, such as the TransPennine Route Upgrade or the Dublin Area Rapid Transit (DART). Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who are working towards a degree in Railway Engineering, Railway Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering and are eager to apply their academic knowledge to real-world rail engineering projects during a rewarding summer internship.
