The Centre Manager located at our flagship summer school at Lord Wandsworth College plays a huge part in ensuring that our students, group leaders, and staff have a great experience in the summer. You are the face of the summer school and lead the Centre Management Team to ensure all aspects of the school are running smoothly and in line with the ethos and expectations of English Study Camps (ESC) by Wimbledon School of English. The role is varied and very rewarding, working with a variety of stakeholders including the host school, ESC senior managers, agents, parents, students, and staff. Leading by example, the centre manager utilises their experience and knowledge to create a safe, caring, and fun environment at their centre. Key Areas of Responsibility:

Direct management of Centre Management Team (CMT) including the Student Services & Welfare Manager, Director of Studies, Social Activities Manager, and overall management of all Summer School Staff. Student Safeguarding, Welfare, and Discipline including Health & Safety. Liaison with the host school staff and senior ESC managers at the main WSE school. General course administration, including pre-course set up, staff induction, day-to-day administration during the course, and post-course closure. Public Relations, including parents, agents, and sponsors of students on the course, local authorities, and service suppliers. Financial Management, including planning and controlling the course budget and handling student pocket money. Quality Control of the whole course that includes our Explorers, Flyers, and Football Academy Programmes.
