Key Responsibilities Centre & Staff Management: Lead and manage the centre’s day-to-day operations, including regular meetings with staff, managing rotas, and overseeing performance management. Student Welfare & Safety: Ensure the safety and welfare of all students, maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. Communication: Hold daily assemblies, respond to student disciplinary issues, liaise with welfare staff, and maintain communication with Head Office, parents, and agents. Arrival/Departure Management: Ensure smooth arrivals and departures, managing the transfer day process in collaboration with the Centre Administrator and Head Office. Finance: Oversee the centre’s budget, including managing petty cash and departmental spending. External Clients: Liaise with host centres, group leaders, agents, and parents, ensuring smooth communication and operational procedures. Essential Requirements GCSEs (minimum 5 A*-C, including English and Maths). Proficient English speaker. IT literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience in ELT management (residential setting). Experience in financial management and cash handling. Team leadership and people management experience. Strong time management and organisational skills. Excellent interpersonal and client-focused skills. Desirable CELTA/DELTA qualification. Experience working with mixed nationality students. Residential experience. Ability to speak other languages. Safeguarding training.
