Job Title: Superintendent - Municipal Construction Projects
Position Overview: The Superintendent reports directly to the General Superintendent and works on a peer basis with the Project Manager and other members of the team as is deemed necessary. The Superintendent is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and overseeing the daily construction activities at a project site and is held accountable for the following Core Competencies: Project Schedule and Productivity Project Quality and Safety Project Budget and Profitability Site Management Client Satisfaction Personal Development Corporate and Business Development Some of the Benefits Include: Our client offers medical, dental, & vision insurance 401k with company match Paid time off plus paid holidays Health Savings Account Professional training programs / career development Key Responsibilities: Coordinating and scheduling of Trade / Subcontractors; material/equipment deliveries, and the progress of the Project. Maximizing production, eliminating disruptions, and avoiding downtime. Comprehending all scopes of work, and aid in dispute resolution. Track field time, equipment, and materials relative to changes in work. Required Skills and Qualifications: 5+ years experience in large commercial construction 2+ years experience working with local government construction projects (schools, fire stations, police stations, libraries, etc) Proficient in Project Schedule, Meetings/Inspections, Documentation, and Safety.
