Your new opportunity Assessing and supervising carers and supporting children, young people and adults in their homes.

Actively involved in the recruitment of carers and the co-ordination and delivering of service training, for both Quarriers Shared Lives Family Placement Service and Quarriers Fostering Service Carers.

Contributing to the overall work of the Quarriers Shared Lives Family Placement Service and Quarriers Fostering Service.

Working with key partners in other agencies Facilitate matching and introductions.

Lead on the co-ordination of the identified training needs of all carers.

Involved and contribute to policy development Attend family placement panels Working pattern: This is a full-time role offering 35 hours per week, primarily based in our Glasgow Regional office located in Springburn.

There will be travelling required for visits and panel meetings, this means the successful candite will need to have a full UK driving licence with daily access to your own vehicle.

What you will need to bring to the role Qualified Social Worker Desirable practice teacher/link worker Registered with SSSC.

Knowledge of and/or experience in Family Placement (Adult Placement & Fostering).

Knowledge of Disability issues, particularly as they affect social care.

Ability to work as part of a team and with other agencies.
