Join our Midlands Fostering Service as a

Supervising Social Worker , where you will work with an experienced team in a culture where children are respected, listened to, and involved in as many decisions as possible.

This

Northamptonshire -based position will support our foster families within our expanding service, offering work-from-home flexibility. Occasional travel to our

Bromsgrove

office will be required for team meetings.

Your day will be varied. You can follow a flexible structure whilst supporting our foster carers, holding realistic caseloads, and providing a high level of supervision, monitoring, and intervention. You will work within a trauma-informed practice model where we can support and follow a therapeutic practice.

You will have the opportunity to complete Form F Assessments, participate in our Children & Young People’s participation and strategy events, and be part of our out-of-hours service, where you will support our foster carers on a rota basis.

Our leadership team will invest in your progression as a professional in the childcare sector. We source and deliver up-to-date training opportunities and prioritize and discuss your personal development goals to ensure you’re getting the most out of your career. We know how important it is that we look after you so you can look after the foster carers and children who need you.

Our young people may have had many adults come in and out of their lives, often adding to their trauma. Therefore, we are looking for committed and dedicated people who want to continue their careers with a therapeutically based organization and leading independent fostering agency.

For newly qualified social workers, you will have access to the ASYE programme, formal CHARMS training, and peer and group clinical supervision provided by a qualified psychologist. You will have opportunities to integrate with our clinical, educational, and residential services, and we like to promote from within, so you will have access to career progression opportunities.
