Job Title: Reactive Supervisor - Social Housing

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Reactive Supervisor to join our team in Crawley. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of reactive maintenance services within the social housing sector. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the work of multi-skilled operatives and subcontractors.
Respond promptly to resident requests for repairs and maintenance.
Schedule appointments and ensure timely completion of all work orders.
Conduct regular inspections of properties and identify maintenance needs.
Investigate and resolve resident complaints effectively.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and building standards.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
Liaise with residents, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance services.
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader within the social housing sector is essential.
Strong knowledge of building maintenance practices and relevant building regulations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid UK Driving Licence.
SSSTS qualification essential.
Proven experience in managing and motivating teams.
Desirable Skills:
First Aid qualification
Experience with property management software
Relevant trade qualifications (e.g., plumbing, electrical)
