Posted Monday 9 December 2024 at 01:00 Vitacress Salads are now recruiting for a Supervisor in High Care on our Day shift. The primary purpose of this role is to manage and co-ordinate all aspects of the department and team based here at the St. Mary Bourne factory. Key responsibilities & accountabilities include: Ensure the adherence to Health & Safety using Assure (H&S management system) to report Dont Walk By's/Incident/accident ensuring prompt investigations and actions closed out -Risk assessments reviewed, and monthly safety tours completed. Ensure that high standards of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Hygiene Manufacturing Practice (HMP) are always maintained across the shift. Ensure an effective handover of the shift to the outgoing/incoming Supervisor to minimise downtime and maximise performance. Manage and monitor the team’s performance to ensure the efficient achievement of production targets. Plan appropriate staffing levels to counter periods of absence and holiday and to ensure appropriate staffing levels are in place during peak season. Identify and lead the implementation of process improvements to maximise the team’s performance and reduce waste and work alongside other key departments. Identify and manage the training needs of the team and ensure a succession plan is in operation to backfill roles when required. Experience & skills required: FMCG Experience. Employee Relations Experience. Line Management Experience. Planning and Organising Skills. Communication and Interpersonal Skills. Microsoft – Intermediate. This role is a 4 on 4 off shift pattern and the hours are 6.00am to 6.00pm. Please contact Claire in TA for more information.
