We are currently looking for an experienced Supervisor Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Middlesbrough with an immediate start available due to a busy order book. Reporting to the project manager, the candidate must be motivated and hardworking and must have a willingness to learn and adapt, they must also be willing to travel to various client sites across the UK. Roles and Responsibilities: This is a supervisor role, so the candidate must be comfortable managing a small team. Experience in steel erecting required. Lift and shift experience desirable. Rigging and slinging experience desirable. Experience installing full production lines is advantageous. Strictly adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures, and ensuring your team does the same. Carrying out the construction of structural components according to design drawings. Ability to examine structural systems with attention to local state building codes. Overseeing structural systems and ensuring they’re maintained regularly. Experience operating tools and machinery to grind, mill and shape raw materials into the required form, then assemble the final product. We are looking for someone with the following experience and qualifications: A full UK Driver’s license L3 certificate in Mechanical Fitting or similar time served apprenticeship Experience working within the food and/or chemical industry advantageous Skills for interpreting mechanical drawings, documentation and data Various safety qualifications such as CSCS Card/safety passport/MEWP/IPAF/SSSTS are desirable but not essential as additional training can be provided. Working Hours
