As a growing business we are looking to strengthen our Non Destructive Testing and Inspection Department with another supervisor.
You will work alongside the other Technical experts in the team and you will have responsibility for organising the NDT and Inspection area efficiently and meeting our Production Targets.
Whilst one day will never be the same as the next, a typical day might look like this;
Assist in the running the inspection area to efficiently and effectively meet production targets.
Day-to-day supervision and organisation of Inspection personnel.
Attendance of daily/weekly production meetings to advise on departmental progress.
Collecting and reporting of production data in relation to daily/weekly production plan.
Conduct departmental meetings to effectively communicate targets and daily issues.
Update Timeware to incorporate personnel holidays/absence etc.
Purchase consumables to ensure efficient running of the department
Hands-on Ultrasonic testing (where/when deemed necessary)
What do you need to succeed at IFA?
At least a level 2 Ultrasonic Qualification
Good working knowledge of technical documentation
You will be used to communicating at all levels of the business and building relationships
You will have great organisational, numeracy and IT skills
