Temporary Full-Time (up to 18 months) / Non-Union Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Director of Community Services, the Supervisor of Community Programs is required to achieve results in community-wide programs, event development and supervision, marketing, community engagement, and maintenance and repair. Hours of work:
35 hours per week, primarily Monday to Friday, but may include evenings and weekends based on programming requirements. Compensation:
$73,600 to $86,104 per annum (commensurate with experience). Minimum Qualifications:
University Degree in Physical Education, Recreation and Leisure Management, Kinesiology, Community Development or equivalent. 1 to 2 years of recent experience in recreation/activation coordination preferred. Experience in fitness and activity leadership. Familiarity with community resources is an asset. Computer literacy required; demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated ability to be creative, pro-active, work independently as well as be an effective team member. Demonstrated excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written. Class “G” Driver’s License in good standing. How to Apply:
