Your Impact

You will manage VAT returns submissions and balance sheet reconciliations for the team for assigned entities and the corresponding paperwork for payment. You will manage the submission of Intrastat reporting and other statutory and regulatory reporting. You will be responsible for preparing and submitting internal and external regulatory and compliance reports, and coordinating with tax advisors and regulators to ensure timely and accurate tax return filings. You will establish and manage strong relationships with the tax team, external auditors and tax advisors. You will support the manager with common processes, and other adhoc projects to drive efficiency and quality improvements within the team.

Your Experience and Qualifications

Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, CA, ACCA or CIMA). Practical VAT and Intrastat experience in an advisory, tax authority or industry role. Proven experience in preparing and reviewing VAT returns, combined with a strong understanding of overseas legislation and requirements. Experience in dealing and managing stakeholders remotely. Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
