As a Supervisory Engineer / Team Lead in Kincardine, Ontario, you will be part of the proven team in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include: Ensuring effective performance of engineering assignments. Planning and directing the timely execution of engineering activities, as assigned. Ensuring projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies, objectives and customer standards. Monitoring goals and performance metrics. Working interactively with customers to develop strong relationships. Researching and assessing best practices, proposing methods and improvements. Providing field management oversight. Deploying to site as needed to resolve issues/support outage work. Providing resolution of technical issues during design, installation and commissioning phases of projects. Resource management, work assignment, and support for proposals and estimating. Tracking and supporting team performance on schedule and cost metrics. Promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Core Engineering focus areas: Consulting engineering solutions Process Piping Design, including Valves, Pumps, and Heat Exchangers Fluid Dynamics, including steady state and dynamic flow analyses Machine Design, Solid Mechanics, and Failure Theory, including piping stress analysis and FEA Familiarity with/Knowledge of Bruce Power’s systems, processes, and procedures This position requires up to 25% travel.
