£47,615 + Dependent Upon Experience Location:

Supplier Development Engineer . If you want to be part of a diverse team where everyone has a voice – do not hesitate to apply! As part of an international division,

you would deal with suppliers across Europe and focus on the category of filters.

As this technology is essential to business, you would be in the front row for technological developments and changes in the organization. What Will You Do Assess supplier quality

and ensure that all products are defect-free and comply with manufacturing specifications and legal standards.

Conduct tests and assessments

on incoming supplies to identify any quality issues. Develop supplier inspection, testing, and evaluation mechanisms.

Generate reports on supplier quality

by monitoring defect rates and areas that can lead to potential flaws; guide suppliers to reduce these defect rates.

Conduct proactive audits

including supplier quality control to ensure compliance with organizational and federal policies and standards.

Support suppliers in improving their performance

through process enhancements, implementing process controls, and developing quality assurance plans.

Cooperate with the New Product Implementation team in connection with upcoming projects.

What You Will Have Completed

Engineering studies or equivalent experience.

Effective communication skills in

English

to convey messages across functions to both internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to apply your knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Ability to transform numerical data into business insight.

Knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques (including PPAP and APQP).

Ability to plan, guide, and monitor manufacturing processes for improvement and compliance.

Knowledge of Supplier Management and Evaluation processes.

Aptitude to work effectively individually.

Willingness and ability to travel

(around 25% of the overall work, mostly in Europe, occasionally Asia).

Best Candidates Will Also Have Knowledge of filter technologies.

Proven project management skills.

Multiple years of experience in procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, or engineering.
