Job Description Supplier management and procurement for the Retail Franchise in line with the Group Supplier Management and Procurement policy. Responsible for the oversight of the relationships with all suppliers within Retail, ensuring appropriate governance is in place and compliant with the Group Supplier Management and Procurement Policy and Third-Party Risk Management framework. KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES The Supplier Performance Manager will be the key person, leading and ensuring that all Relationship Owners (RO's) are equipped with the required knowledge and tools to manage their supplier relationships and governance. Key point of contact for: 1st and 2nd Line Risk and Compliance teams to ensure all TPRM requirements are met. Consumer Supplier related queries. Supplier advice and strategy. Ongoing management of all current suppliers, including: Attending regular governance meetings between RO's and third parties and key internal stakeholders. Attending regular strategic review meetings (where appropriate) between third parties and key internal stakeholders. Reviewing with the RO's the monthly MI to ensure appropriate incident management where relevant, reviewing SLA performance, and, where necessary, obtaining service credits. Reviewing invoices to ensure they are as expected and gaining SCC approval for all relevant spend. Running the Supplier Forum to ensure proper governance of all Suppliers by the relevant ROs. Creation and development of required materials for various committees (COpCo, CGRC, etc.). Ensuring regular supplier risk assessments, due diligence, and audits take place. Coordinating contractual negotiations when required, liaising with all key stakeholders and supporting the approval process. Facilitating with RO's the Exit & BCP plans directly relating to Suppliers, feeding into the TPRM policy owner. Leading on all 3rd party audit requirements by working with the RO's and the Supplier to ensure all requirements are met. Lead the procurement process for new suppliers in conjunction with the Group procurement team, including: Leading and/or supporting any RFP/RFI processes within the Retail Franchise. Ensuring compliance with the Group's Procurement Process, including undertaking necessary due diligence. Coordination of key stakeholders' input throughout the procurement process, as part of the due diligence and/or contractual negotiations. Ensuring smooth transition and handover to the RO where required, e.g., from project delivery to BAU supplier management, including setting up of governance and reporting. Directly managing the relationship (As a Relationship Owner) for some of the Suppliers which span wider bank relationships (E.g., Bureaus, post supplier, etc.) - managing the governance and day-to-day relationship for these suppliers. Working closely with the procurement team and the Head of TPRM and Operational resilience to ensure all business RO's and Suppliers work within the policy guidelines. Qualifications Experience Experience in procurement and supplier management. Good analytical skills. Experience working with third parties. Strong oral and written communication skills. Highly organized. Interpersonal Self-motivated and driven with high personal standards and personal goals. Customer-focused and results-driven. Ability to foster a cooperative work environment within a complex partnership/organisational structure. Advanced verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people across all areas of the bank.
