Long term assignment, over 12 months, for a Supplier Quality Engineer A remote position with travel to supplier sites paying c£30ph About Our Client Our client is a large organisation in the Industrial / Manufacturing industry. Job Description As the Supplier Quality Engineer you will be responsible for: Managing supplier relationships to ensure product quality. Conducting audits and assessments of suppliers and their quality systems. Overseeing product development processes to ensure compliance with company standards. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve supplier quality issues. Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain. Analysing performance data for trends and improvements. Reporting on supplier performance and quality to management. Facilitating the escalation of unresolved supplier quality issues within the organisation. The Successful Applicant A successful Supplier Quality Engineer should have: Worked in a similar Supplier Quality position within manufacturing. A working understanding of PPAP. AIAG exposure. Strong APQP skills. Proficiency in quality systems and certifications. Strong communication skills. The flexibility to travel across the UK and Europe.
