Supplier Quality Engineer Location - Hull Salary - Up to £42,000 Supplier Quality Engineer role: Evaluate and qualify new suppliers in alignment with company standards. Conduct on-site audits of supplier facilities to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain supplier quality agreements and performance metrics. Review supplier-provided documentation, including first article inspections (FAI), certificates of conformance (CoC), and test reports. Ensure proper implementation of quality standards, such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other industry-specific requirements. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues using tools like 8D, CAPA, or root cause analysis Identify areas of improvement in supplier processes and collaborate on corrective and preventive actions. Implement statistical methods, Six Sigma, or Lean methodologies to enhance supplier performance. Monitor and analyze supplier performance data to track trends and drive continuous improvement. Supplier Quality Engineer Qualifications: Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in manufacturing. Experience working with suppliers in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
