Supplier Quality Manager Location: Hinkley Point C Site, Bridgwater, Somerset Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance

About the Role: Join the team behind Hinkley Point C, the UK's first new-build nuclear power station in a generation, critical to the UK's Net Zero targets. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Supplier Quality Manager to lead in ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance across the supply chain in one of the UK's most prestigious projects.

As part of the Supplier Quality function, you'll support the Quality Lead in developing and implementing best practices, focusing on defect prevention, reducing variation and waste, and driving continuous improvements to meet all customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide positive Nuclear Safety leadership, cultivating a strong and compliant Nuclear Safety culture across the supply chain. Develop and maintain supplier quality arrangements and performance metrics. Oversee supplier quality and delivery performance, ensuring alignment with project standards. Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction teams to ensure effective supplier process capabilities. Take a data-driven, risk-based approach to identify opportunities and mitigate risks within the supply chain. Analyse non-conformities and lead improvement actions with stakeholders. Manage supplier audit activities, ensuring timely closure and compliance. Oversee the review and acceptance of End of Manufacturing Reports (EoMR) and associated Life Time Quality Records (LTQRs). Manage source inspection activities and ensure quality standards are met at every stage.

About You: You'll be an ISO 9001:2015 qualified Lead Auditor with experience in auditing to this standard. A proven ability to lead and develop a team of Engineers and Inspectors. Strong understanding of manufacturing and inspection processes, including Fabrication, Extrusion, Coating, and NDT. Knowledge of problem-solving and improvement tools, with a track record of leading improvement projects. Degree qualified or have a minimum of 5 years' experience in Quality/Supplier Quality or equivalent in a regulated industry.

Desirable Skills and Experience: Experience within the Nuclear sector is an advantage but not essential. Strong organisational and workload management skills. CQP MCQI, ASQ CMQ or equivalent membership.
