The Adviser business provides support, expertise and technology for financial advisers in the UK to bring value for their businesses and their clients.

About the role

As the Supplier Relationship Manager, you will be a key part of the Supplier Management Team within the Adviser Business, responsible for managing 3rd party providers aligned to the Adviser Vector.

You will work with 3rd party providers and set criteria to monitor the supplier to ensure they can continue to meet what is required. You will also engage with any new 3rd party providers to ensure we establish the relationship and requirements at the outset.

Key responsibilities

Manage supplier governance meetings as per contractual requirements

Annual contract review for all suppliers

KPI/SLAs validation in conjunction with business team

Supplier assurance activities in line with TPRM framework (SRAQ, DDQ, Exit Plans etc)

Engagement with oversight owners to track supplier performance

Supplier escalation management

Ownership of supplier budget and performance against forecast

About the candidate requirements

Strong working knowledge of managing third-party suppliers and different types of third-party contracts

Experience of managing suppliers within an enterprise risk framework and governance model

Good commercial acumen and ability to analyse complex spend data

Skilled in analysing the appropriate data and KPIs to support and identify themes/trends to make fact-based decision making

A strong set of analytical skills, naturally inclined to analyse and challenge current processes and seek to ensure best practice at all times

Good relationship management skills with a track record of effectively influencing, collaborating, and constructively challenging stakeholders at all levels

Strong verbal and written communicator with the ability to make the complex simple and engage both technical and non-technical audiences using a variety of mediums
