Supplier Relationship Manager

Location: 1-2 Days Per Week in Manchester Office, Flexible Remote Options

Salary: £65k

Working for a leading insurance group, we are seeking a skilled Supplier Relationship Manager to join the team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in supplier management, ideally within the insurance or financial services sector, who is ready to bring their expertise to an exciting and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers, ensuring consistent communication and collaboration. Manage the full supplier lifecycle, from sourcing and contract negotiations to performance evaluation. Collaborate with internal teams to align supplier performance with company goals and quality standards. Identify and implement strategies for improving supplier performance, cost-efficiency, and risk management. Address and resolve any supplier-related issues or challenges, ensuring timely solutions and continuous improvement. Stay up-to-date on market trends and supplier capabilities to drive strategic sourcing decisions.

What We're Looking For: Proven experience in supplier management, procurement, or supply chain management. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a solutions-oriented mindset. A deep understanding of supply chain operations and vendor management best practices. Ability to build and nurture long-term, professional relationships. Detail-oriented with a strategic approach to performance management.
