The Company:

A well-established textiles company is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Analyst to join their growing team. My client produces and exports Technical garments using overseas production locations. Requires accuracy, an agile mind, and an aptitude to handle system-based material controls.

This is an opportunity to develop a wider understanding of the business as a whole. The Role:

Running Material Resource Planning (MRP) spreadsheets daily. Looking into any issues or macro defects that can be fixed easily. System improvement/development where required. Communicating with factories to ensure goods are accurately booked in and updated stock counts monthly. Involvement in other business-critical applications such as invoice processing, purchase invoice processing, and general business support such as credit control. Key Skills and Competencies:

Data Analysis Skills. Data Collection & Organization: Ability to gather data from multiple sources (e.g., sales, customer, inventory) and organize it effectively within Excel. Understanding trends, averages, growth rates, and other statistical metrics to describe the business state. Basic forecasting models using Excel's built-in tools (such as trendlines) or leveraging statistical formulas. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for the business, focusing on sales, profitability, customer retention, etc. Ability to work closely with various departments (marketing, sales, finance, operations) to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights. Proficiency in presenting complex data in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with Excel dashboards, reports, and presentation software like PowerPoint is beneficial. Ability to apply data insights to solve business challenges and make process improvements. Analyze business operations and propose data-driven solutions for streamlining workflows or improving efficiency. Skills Required:

Appetite for Learning. Strong communication skills for translating technical data insights into business strategies, and a flexible approach to evolving tasks and business priorities. The role is dynamic and provides opportunities for growth, making it an ideal position for someone eager to develop their career within a growing organization. Proficient in Excel - VBAs, Macros, Data Queries, Data Connections. Numerate qualifications required (Degree Level preferred). Curiosity & Adaptability: Proactive in seeking out additional training and resources, such as online courses or certifications (e.g., Google Data Analytics Certificate, Microsoft Excel certifications).
