Wood is recruiting a Supply Chain Associate to support across critical projects across the Systems Integration team within our Digital Consulting business. This is a hybrid role based out of our Aberdeen office. Please note applicants must be able to pass HMG Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check. The Role

As a Supply Chain Associate, you will undertake effective execution of all aspects of supply chain management, including procurement, expediting, subcontracts, materials management, and logistics. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual in the early stages of their career with fundamental business acumen, who is enthusiastic with the ability to prioritise tasks ensuring deadlines are achieved. You will be supported by a strong team and gain excellent exposure across a number of key client projects within the Systems Integration business enabling you to develop your key skill set across all aspects of supply chain. The key objectives for this role are: Responsible for the end-to-end sourcing process of any low-risk procurement/subcontracts activity assigned, this could include price negotiations, utilisation of Wood Approved Supplier Register (ASR) and assisting supplier with performance reviews Ensuring the delivery of any expediting tasks, including the creation of daily reports, updating of the procurement system and issuing of expediting progress reports The completion of any materials and logistics activity which included but not limited to, the production of shipping documents for all materials movements, timely updating of the procurement system and identification of materials shortages and surplus Ensure all Supply Chain activities are carried out in accordance with the project execution plan/schedule and/or contracting strategy, within approved budgets and in line with project processes and procedures Update the project/procurement status report (PSR) in line with project/client required on site dates and current/estimated lead and delivery times, notifying any delays in supply chain management Carry out all activity in accordance with the Wood Supply Chain Code of Conduct, ensuring that all statutory and legal requirements and applicable processes and procedures are complied with, and all documents are filed accurately and fully auditable Qualifications
