My client, a gaming organisation, is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Specialist to help support the team.

About the Role: As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our products reach gamers worldwide seamlessly. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage inventory levels, communicate with customers, dispatch orders and demand planning. This role offers a unique blend of analytical thinking, strategic planning, and collaboration with key stakeholders to drive efficiency in our supply chain.

Key accountabilities:

* Support Supply Chain Manager - Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager to execute the activities of the Planning Team, ensuring alignment with short, medium and long-term business objectives. Prioritise strong availability, efficient stockholding, and minimise OOS situations. * Order Management - Manage the end-to- end order management process, encompassing order processing, master data alignment, returns and resolutions of order-to-invoice discrepancies. Input sales orders and provide support for purchase order information using our inventory management software * Sales Order Processing - Process, match and confirm sales orders against purchase orders. Pro-actively identify and resolve issues throughout the order processing to delivery cycle, minimising the impact on customers * Supply and Demand Balances - Identify issues related to supply and demand imbalances and communicate them to demand and production planning teams promptly. Work collaboratively to minimise future availability issues and mitigate service risks.* Logistics Co-ordination - Schedule and organise product shipments by sea and road, with experience in dealing with imports from the Far East into UK /Europe; and exports from the Far East to various countries worldwide. Liaise closely with our factory sites, 3PL's, Sales, Product Development and Logistics Teams* Collaborative Relationships - Build and maintain effective collaborative relationships internally, communicating seamlessly across Commercial, Product Development and Finance Teams. Work closely with customers to ensure successful promotions, events and seasonal buys.* Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with Sales, Product Development and Logistic Teams to prioritise stock, address shortages, and manage large volume orders, supporting seasonal launches. * Freight and Warehousing - Collaborate with freight forwarding suppliers to confirm shipments and update delivery dates. Work closely with the Warehouse Team to ensure accurate booking of incoming goods and fulfilment of outstanding orders. * Inventory Management - Reconcile system inventory with physical inventory and ensure accuracy* Production Planning - Work with shipment timelines, proactively planning for public holidays and their impact on production and dispatch schedules.

Proficiency in any other data analysis tools is a bonus.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.* Proven experience in operations, in logistics or a similar role within a fast-paced industry.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.* Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools is desirable.
