Cure Talent is excited to partner with a global leader in the medical industry in their search for an experienced supply chain professional. As a Procurement Supply Chain Leader, you will oversee material planning, indirect procurement, and plant maintenance stores while leading a dedicated team of seven. Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager, you will help shape the strategic direction of the department and drive key initiatives in cost reduction, compliance, and continuous improvement. This role offers a pathway to potential succession for the current Supply Chain Manager, making it an excellent opportunity for career growth. Key Responsibilities: Lead procurement activities for raw materials, indirect supplies, and plant maintenance stores, implementing strategies to optimise supplier integration and efficiency. Collaborate with production operations to address supply chain process changes and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements. Provide material forecasts, manage cost variances, and support finance with audits and customs data. Drive cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects to maximise value for money. Act as the subject matter expert for audits and supply chain-related issues. What We’re Looking For: Experience in supply chain management within high-volume manufacturing. Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop and manage multi-disciplinary teams. Strong proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite. Expertise in supplier management, compliance, and process improvement. Relevant qualifications such as MCIPS or equivalent (desirable).
