We have an exciting opportunity for a

Supply Chain Manager

to join our dynamic team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract (May be extended) at our clients manufacturing facility in Bishop Auckland.

About the Company: They are a leading manufacturing company, known for our commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. Their products set the standard in the industry. The products are machined and then assembled in the same facility and are used in many different industries.

The Role: As the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing their supply chain operations, ensuring the seamless flow of materials, production, and delivery. You will work closely with suppliers, production teams, and logistics partners to maintain efficiency, reduce costs, and meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee the entire supply chain process from procurement to delivery, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and enhance supplier performance. Collaborate with production teams to align supply chain activities with manufacturing schedules. Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure the best terms. Monitor and analyse supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory management, and logistics. Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in supply chain software and Microsoft Office Suite. What We Offer: Salary 50-60k and benefits package including a healthcare. Opportunity to make a real impact in a growing company.
