required for a leading supplier of engineering products based in Ormskirk, Lancashire.

The

Supply Chain Manager / Office Manager / Procurement Officer / Buyer

will negotiate terms and conditions with both suppliers, couriers, and freight companies and manage a team of 3 apprentices. You will be responsible for managing the supply chain and ensuring all deliveries and services are on time.

The candidate will need to live within a commutable distance to Ormskirk, Lancashire and have prior experience in a similar role.

Package: £28,000 - £35,000 Depending on experience 23 days holiday + bank holidays Pension Monday - Friday Office based near Ormskirk, Lancashire

Responsibilities: Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers, couriers, and freight companies while managing a team of 3 apprentices. Manage the supply chain to ensure all deliveries and services are on time. Monitor all deliveries and liaise with different departments to ensure the correct items are ordered at a reasonable price. Monitor and assess supplier performance against metrics and KPIs. Regularly update supply chain processes in line with company policies, laws, and regulations. Assist the Managing Director with the onboarding of new staff. Monitor all office supplies and IT equipment.

Requirements: Prior experience as a Supply Chain Manager / Office Manager / Procurement Officer / Buyer or similar experience. Must be commutable to the office based near Ormskirk, Lancashire.
