The

Supply Chain Manager

involves creating and implementing strategies for the Procurement, Planning, and Inventory Control teams while overseeing the daily tasks of team members. This position is responsible for developing metrics and actions to enhance the teams' efficiency and effectiveness in achieving corporate goals. Leading a team of six direct reports, the role includes providing development and growth opportunities while supporting the accomplishment of individual objectives.

The ideal candidate is proactive and results-oriented, with a strong drive for continuous improvement. They should have experience with lean tools and processes, as well as a keen interest in developing people, teams, and business processes. Additionally, the candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and ERP systems, along with demonstrated values of ethical accountability and teamwork.

Accountabilities

Maintain optimal inventory levels using a Kanban ordering system to ensure products are available just in time to meet customer demand while minimizing waste.

Collaborate with other departments to integrate activities that maximize synergies, streamline operations, and eliminate waste.

Lead and mentor team members, fostering a lean mindset and enhancing overall performance through continuous improvement.

Ensure compliance with Trojan/Veralto policies regarding documentation, auditing, and record-keeping, in alignment with lean standards.

Develop and implement the PSI (Production, Sales, and Inventory) forecasting process in collaboration with stakeholders to support effective production planning based on lean manufacturing principles.

The essential requirements of the job include:

10+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain management.

5+ years of experience in a lean manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of Lean principles and Kanban systems.

Relevant post-secondary degree in areas such as Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Engineering (BEng.), Business Administration (BA), or Commerce (BComm).

Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, PMP, SCMP, or CITT are considered assets.
