About the role We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to support the day-to-day activities of the Supply Chain Lead, focusing on developing commercial and technical expertise within our Airbus product line. In this role, you will manage airframe teardowns, conduct asset evaluations, obtain vendor quotes, initiate repairs, make purchasing recommendations, and oversee global distribution. Additionally, you will manage customer contracts, particularly Power by the Hour (PBH) and Exchange programs, to ensure customer satisfaction. If you are a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional with strong communication and organisational skills, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at managing multiple projects while building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities: Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery to customers. Assist with periodic product line valuations and lot valuations. Source and obtain pricing, condition, and availability information for requirements. Enter and update data in the Quantum system. Maintain professional relationships internally and externally, ensuring effective communication. Estimate cost and turnaround times. Provide day-to-day sales support, help improve sales revenue and manage aftermarket sales and service. Assist in setting fair market values for components, aligning with market changes. Evaluate purchasing needs and execute purchasing strategies to meet product line budgets. Review and prepare responses to customer RFPs and contract proposals, achieving commercial metrics. Generate monthly reports. Ensure contractual obligations are met and communicate performance deviations to relevant departments. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to inventory levels, supply chain disruptions, or market fluctuations affecting the product line. You will ideally need the following: Bachelor's degree preferably in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a field related to Supply Chain, Procurement, or Inventory Management. Experience in a related field such as Supply Chain, Procurement, or Inventory management. Technical knowledge in aviation maintenance, airframe, or powerplant is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI). Strong analytical skills. Excellent communication and organisational skills with attention to detail. Team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of handling various projects. Ability to build strong relationships with customers and vendors. Willingness to travel as needed to trade shows and suppliers (limited travel required).
