An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 4 Supply Chain Supervisor within the Procurement service. Main Duties of the Job

The role will be responsible for the implementation of Procurement CIPS as well as leading the Supply Chain team on a day-to-day basis across two sites. You will be responsible for building key relationships with internal and external teams including end users/Departments, Finance, and GMs. The successful candidate must be able to prioritize competing demands for the service and learn quickly to understand the complexity of the service. The Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust Procurement Shared Service provides specialist support for several NHS trusts within London including Guy's and St Thomas' hospital sites and the Evelina Children's Hospital as well as Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust. These day-to-day services will be managed in accordance with agreed objectives, targets, quality standards, controls, and resource constraints. The post holder will be responsible for the management of teams over two hospital sites, service delivery, and support to clinical departments. Job Responsibilities

This key operational role will be the face of the service, providing a world-class inventory stock management system. This role will support the Supply Chain Manager in the delivery of a highly effective supply chain service. The post holder will manage a service team and deal with all day-to-day operational issues, ensuring that processes and policies are adhered to and targets are monitored and achieved. Person Specification

Experience

Experience and knowledge of managing inventory management systems and implementing systems within a fast-moving business environment. Experience of setting objectives, carrying out staff appraisals, and identifying training needs. Experience of report preparation and recommendation methodology. Developed customer care communication skills. Experience of organizational management in a large organization. Experience of performance management including disciplinary policies. Qualifications

Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS), or equivalent training and experience. Skills

Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills. Experience of staff rota management in a large organization. An experienced problem solver. Experience of working with systems-based data for interrogation purposes. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
