PPD Supply Planner FTC/Secondment - June 2026 At L'Oréal, a Supply Planner is central to the flow of accurate and timely information on everything stock and optimising its availability allowing the business to make the most informed decisions possible.

A DAY IN THE LIFE You’ll be joining the nine-strong L’Oréal UKI PPD Product Planning team, in the key role of Supply Planner. A L'Oréal PPD Supply Planner's day is seldom the same as the last. Your role sits at the heart of L'Oréal, with multiple touch points across a wide variety of functions and would see you responsible for the supply planning of our iconic brands. Your day could begin with identifying an upcoming out of stock on a key line working with the Demand Planner and customer teams to understand the cause. After analysing the potential business impact, you would then be on call with the S&OP team to try and understand how soon we can next get stock; putting in action plans to get it to the UK as soon as possible and aligning the stakeholders needed to do so. With all the information at hand you would then alert the brand and commercial teams to allow any mitigation to be put in place to ensure the lowest impact on any upcoming activations. The afternoon may see you working on stock reporting identifying risks of excess stock and looking at plans to use and reuse with our L’Oréal for the Future commitments front of your mind. It could also see you identifying a persistent drainer to our customer service level and updating our stock parameter to mitigate future risk or perhaps working on a continuous improvement with the DC, or order to cash teams that will help benefit the ways of working of the wider team. With the wide range of functions we impact and processes we touch, once the basics are mastered, there is always something you can go after to mark for legacy on the role.

WHO YOU ARE Customer-centric (both internal and external), with experience in Supply Chain. Comfortable building strong relationships with and able to influence internal stakeholders. Able to reach mutually acceptable solutions to complex problems which arise; level-headed, happy to manage and resolve issues under pressure. Very organised and have a keen eye for detail. Resilient and able to work in a fast-moving, ever-changing, demanding environment. Someone with strong prioritisation skills. Experienced in presenting and adapting communication style. Able to challenge ways of working and seek out ways to continuously improve.

WHAT WE OFFER Our industry-leading award-winning benefits package shows how much we value our people. We know they're at the heart of L'Oréal's success, so we offer a fair and competitive package to help you thrive. Enjoy perks like money-saving offers, free mortgage advice, share options and an enhanced pension plan. Love our brands? You'll get up to 60% off iconic names like YSL, CeraVe, Armani, Kiehl's and Garnier! Because health matters, we offer private medical and dental insurance, discounted gym memberships, and onsite mental health support. We also provide enhanced family leave for all and up to 4 weeks of paid fertility leave, so you can prioritise what matters most. Learning is in our DNA at L'Oréal.
