Job Title : Supply Teacher Insight Education Location : Central London (Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster, Camden, Hammersmith & Fulham) Contract : Temporary, Supply Basis (Part-Time or Full-Time) Year Groups : EYFS - Year 6 About the Role Insight Education is seeking dedicated and adaptable Supply SEND Teachers to support primary schools across Central London, covering year groups from EYFS to Year 6. In this role, you will step into a variety of classroom settings, providing high-quality instruction and maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of the regular SEND teacher. Key Responsibilities Adapt to Different Environments Quickly familiarise yourself with new school settings and classroom dynamics. Support Student Learning Provide academic support and guidance to students, ensuring their engagement and progress. Maintain Classroom Management Manage behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere. Follow School Policies Adhere to school-specific policies, including safeguarding, behaviour management, and health and safety guidelines. Provide Feedback Offer constructive feedback to students and staff, ensuring a smooth transition for the regular teacher upon their return. Promote Inclusion Ensure all students feel supported and are able to participate fully in lessons, adapting teaching methods as needed. Maintain Communication Keep in regular contact with school staff to report on student progress and any issues that arise. Uphold High Standards Deliver lessons to the best of your ability, maintaining the school s academic and behavioural standards. Requirements Knowledge and understanding of the UK Curriculum Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. A strong understanding of SEND, including common conditions and strategies to support learning. Maintaining a professional attitude and a positive mindset, even in challenging situations. A flexible, adaptable, and positive approach to working in various school settings. Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching.
