Providing support to residents in a refuge setting with a variety of complex needs. Welcoming residents into the refuge and ensuring that there is access to emergency supplies, including: clothing, nappies, toiletries, and food. Conducting risk assessments and devising support plans to meet the complex needs of residents. Supporting residents with access to schools, GPS, housing offices, and legal services. Assisting residents with benefits applications, budgeting, debt management, housing applications, housing appointments, advocating on their behalf. Providing specific support to residents from minority communities and supporting with complex needs including: Honour-based Violence, Forced Marriage, and other forms of VAWG. Working in collaboration with other agencies and community groups to further support residents with complex needs. Provide up to 4 sessions of out of hours cover per month, on the helpline and on-call rotas. Minimum Requirements:
Minimum A-level standard of education or equivalent. Full Driving Licence and car is essential for this role. Experience working in a supported housing environment. Knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse. Experience conducting risk assessments and support plans. Knowledge of benefits and housing benefits system.
