Aberdeen. The post holder will support service delivery across the whole locality, with travel across the area. Our service delivery model is outreach to meet the needs of people impacted by crime. Reporting directly to a Locality Manager, you will ensure that VSS’s local service development and delivery plan is implemented within your geographical area. You will be responsible for planning the deployment of a team of skilled volunteers to ensure that the service delivered meets the desired outcomes of victims and witnesses of crime. This includes all aspects of volunteer engagement, including recruitment, induction, learning and development, ongoing performance management, and support. You will contribute to business planning and coordination to ensure continuous learning and that the outcomes of service users are being met. What you’ll need to be successful We are looking for someone experienced in a similar role who can demonstrate continuing professional development, effective leadership, and the ability to motivate and improve performance. A clean full driver licence is required. You should have analytical skills to understand, collect, analyse, report, and present data. The ability to challenge stereotyping, prejudice, discrimination, and bias is essential. A good working knowledge of the voluntary/charity sector is required, along with a willingness to be flexible in working hours and the ability to travel as needed.
