Support Coordinator focuses on supporting to people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism spectrum conditions, and older people.

What the role involves

• Creative Support is a non-profit provider of personalised care.
• We are recruiting a Support Coordinator for our Mental Health Youth Service in Eastgarth.
• A Support Coordinator who is experienced in working with people who have mental health support needs.
• The service is part of Newcastle’s strategy to provide a wider range of living options for vulnerable people.
• Providing person-centred support to tenants to take part in all aspects of everyday life and achieve their outcomes and goals.

Skills and requirements

• Managerial experience is desirable but not essential.
• We can only accept applications from candidates who are located in and eligible to work within the UK.

Confirmed role details

• Of working with Creative Support include a probationary bonus, pension contributions, 28 days Annual Leave and company paid enhanced DBS.

Additional role context

• The service consists of 7 self-contained flats within Newcastle.
• Supporting and supervising staff and deploying staff resources effectively to meet the needs of the service.
• Be expected to work flexibly on a rota to meet the needs of the service, including evenings and nights, weekends, sleep-ins and bank holidays.
