The Role The great thing about being a Support Practitioner is no two days are ever the same. You'll join one of our services where your main aim will be to provide support to an individual or individuals within their own home in Buckie. You'll assist with all aspects of daily life including finances, medication, cooking and housework. We'll also need you to be enthusiastic about supporting with hobbies and interests too, these include swimming, bingo, going to the cinema, pamper days and a variety of in-house & outdoor activities. About You Don't have experience? Don't worry! Here at Cornerstone, we recruit on values and transferable skills. It's not about what experience and qualifications you have; we're interested in what you as an individual will bring to our team. We have our own Training Academy who'll support you by giving you all the practical skills you'll need.

We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too. As some of the people we support have their own mobility car, we are ideally looking for candidates with a full driving licence and at least one year's experience on the roads. All we need you to bring is: A caring and compassionate attitude and approach The ability to work well in a team Good communication and organisational skills A positive attitude with a willingness to learn An understanding of the importance of routines and guidelines Confidence to go in the water, as swimming is a regular activity Confidence in the use of computers Shift Patterns As we are dedicated to providing around the clock support that is tailored to the needs of each individual, shifts currently fall into patterns of early mornings, days, and evenings. Weekends, sleepovers or waking nights may also form part of your rota on a rotational basis. Our sleepover shifts do not form part of your contracted hours. You will receive an additional payment of

£96
