to join our amazing #TeamKeswick on a 20 hours per week, permanent basis. The Role You'll become part of a warm, friendly and dedicated team who supports two fun-loving ladies with profound learning and physical disabilities who live in their own shared home. The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same. Your main aim will be supporting each of the ladies with their day-to-day needs, including personal care, shopping, finances, cooking, housework, and medication. You'll also provide support with their hobbies and interests, including music, films, in-house activities, baking, going for walks, and arts & crafts. As both ladies love to get out and be part of their local community, you’ll also find yourself getting involved in activities like going to the cinema, discos, and day trips. As both ladies have their own mobility cars, we are ideally looking for a driver; however, this isn't a deal breaker for the right candidate. About You You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferable skills.
We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) and yearly SSSC registration fees too! All we’ll need you to bring is: A caring and compassionate attitude The ability to work well in a team Great communication and organisational skills A positive attitude with a willingness to learn A creative drive to improve the lives of the individuals you support Confidence in the use of computers Shift Patterns As we're dedicated to providing around-the-clock support tailored to the needs of each individual, shift patterns include early mornings, days, evenings, waking nights, weekends, and public holidays.
