About Us: Carr Gomm is a leading social care and community development charity. Our Mobile Homecare service in Mid-Argyll supports people recently discharged from hospital to regain their independence. We work closely with the NHS and local authority to prevent re-admission through tailored, short-term support in people’s homes.

The Role: As a Support Practitioner (Mobile Homecare), you will be working in pairs supporting people with their daily routine. This will include meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care as well as other aspects of their daily life. Flexible working patterns available 08:00 – 14:00 & 16:00 – 21:30 (subject to change).

£24,051 – £25,494 (pro rata) per annum / £12.30 – £13.04 based on qualifications, skills and experience Anti-social hours payment of up to £1209 when undertaking waking night shift (11pm-7am) Time and a half payment for hours worked over 37.5 hours per week (averaged over the pay period) Enhanced mileage payment of 45p per mile 35 days holiday per year, increasing to 40 days with length of service Enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption, and sick leave A Defined Contribution pension scheme, with incremental employer contributions Access to the Carr Gomm App: which includes free physiotherapy, health coaching and counselling Membership to TELUS (Employee Assistance Program, EAP): employee well-being and perks platform Membership of a credit union Cycle to work scheme
