Full Time, Part Time, Supply/Casual/Relief Hours:
37.5 hours per week Driver essential (Vehicle provided) The Oban Day & Overnight Responder Service
provides an effective and efficient way to respond to known risks that occur on an unplanned basis, such as falls and other accidents. This service also offers planned supports. The responder approach ensures that people remain safe and well in their own home while reducing incidences of ambulance call-outs and hospital admissions. It also enables individuals to move towards greater independence and positive outcomes by reducing reliance on sleepover services or 2:1 supports through a planned and risk-managed process. The responder service significantly impacts emergency and community services. Having a team of well-trained and responsible staff reassures the people we support that someone is always on hand, allowing many individuals to feel safe at home, particularly between the hours of 11pm and 7am. We look forward to helping this service grow, develop, and make positive changes for the people we support.
