Perth . Your main aim will be supporting the individuals with their day-to-day needs including personal care, shopping, finances, cooking, housework, and medication. In addition, with all of the individuals we support enjoying being part of their local community, we're also looking for you to be enthusiastic and creative about participating in and supporting with their hobbies and interests which include work experience on a farm, activity clubs, swimming, football, boccia, day trips, and eating out. About You You don't need experience or qualifications to start your career at Cornerstone; we recruit on values and transferable skills and are more interested in what you as an individual will bring to our team.
We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need to be successful in your new role. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) and yearly SSSC registration fees too! All we'll need you to bring is: Confidence to lone work A caring and compassionate attitude The ability to work well in a team Great communication and organisational skills A positive attitude with a willingness to learn Good administration skills The ability to cook Confidence in the use of computers Shift Patterns As we are dedicated to providing support that is tailored to the needs of each individual, shift patterns for this role will usually involve working split shifts during the hours of 0800-2000 hours and will include weekend working on a rotational basis. There will also be occasions where you work later shifts to support individuals to attend shows, concerts, and activity groups and sleepovers to support trips away.
