are on the lookout for new colleagues on a part-time (20 or 25 hours per week) permanent basis. The Role

As a Support Practitioner, no two days are ever the same; you'll be part of a fun, friendly team who supports five amazing and unique individuals with profound learning disabilities and complex needs to live in their shared home. Your main aim will be supporting the individuals with their day-to-day needs which includes administering medication, physio activities, moving and assisting, personal care, appointments, and housework. Some of the individuals also enjoy being an active part of their community, so you may also find yourself being involved in activities like going for walks, riding wheelchair bikes, bingo, supporting in the swimming pool, and snoozelin. About You

You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need.

We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and SSSC yearly registration fees too! If you don't live in Strichen and are not a driver, we will need you to be mindful of the location of our service and be confident that you can travel for your shifts as there are very limited public transport links available that fit with our shift patterns. All we’ll need you to bring is: A caring and compassionate attitude The ability to work well in a team Great communication and organisational skills A positive attitude with a willingness to learn Basic computer skills Shift Patterns

We have various contracts available, including weekend-only contracts. As we’re dedicated to providing the best support possible, shift patterns usually fall between the hours of 0645-2100 hours and waking nights (2100-0700 hours). Weekends are worked on a rotational basis. Waking nights are paid at your normal hourly rate plus an additional £20 for every waking night worked. Sound interesting? What are you waiting for?
