What the role involves

• Carry out regular welfare checks in line with care plans and risk assessments.
• Offer emotional support and reassurance during the night.
• Maintaining accurate records and complete handovers for day staff.
• Ensure the home is safe and secure, including conducting security and fire safety checks.
• Complete light household duties to maintain a clean and homely environment.
• Occasional rota changes to ensure service continuity.

Skills and requirements

• Support, registration, DBS, or safeguarding requirements may apply.
• Relevant care, clinical.
• This role is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check due to working with vulnerable young people.
• Full UK driving licence (desirable).
